Cocoon: Cardboard Light
Inspired by Graypants Design and a personal challenge to design a maximally sustainable light with easy distribution, Cocoon is cut from a single sheet of cardboard and folded into the proper shape. Functioning as both a ceiling mounted overhead light and as a table light, the cutouts project unique striations onto the table, ceiling, or wall. In production, the geometric nets would be laser cut to precision and the light itself would function as its own shipping container.
